We’ll be celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee across our Hampshire holiday parks, with a street-party style celebration. As well as this, there will be loads going on in the local area including…
Jubilee afternoon tea: Is there anything more British than afternoon tea? Local hotels such as Balmer Lawn and Chewton Glen will be offering extra special jubilee-themed afternoon tea, fit for royalty and set in the beautiful surroundings of the New Forest.
Picnic in the Park: Taking place at Woodside Park in Lymington, Picnic in the Park will include sports-day style activities, live music and a dog show as well as children’s craft tent, hot and cold food and more! Visitors are encouraged to pack up their picnic blankets and hampers, and prepare for a good old fashioned day of family fun.
New Milton Lions Club Platinum Jubilee Celebration:
Relax and unwind at New Milton’s recreation ground with a street-party-style celebration filled with live music, entertainment, street food and competitions including cake dressing and children’s art. There will also be a funfair with children’s rides and stalls from local producers.
Dogstival: Saturday 4th - Sunday 5th June
Visit the coolest dog show in town, Dogstival! Taking place at Broadlands Park, just the other side of the forest in Romsey, Dogstival celebrates all things canine with two days dedicated to dogs and dog-lovers.
You don’t have to have a dog to come along, it’s a great day of socialising for dog owners and dog enthusiasts! Enjoy live music, food and drink, dog shows and if you are coming along with a four-legged friend, have a go at activities such as flyball and agility.
Plus, as the main sponsor of the event, we’ll be there with prizes to be won and children’s activities to be enjoyed, so be sure to say hello!
Simply Porche: Sunday 5th June
Taking place at the renowned National Motor Museum in Beaulieu, hundreds of Porche owners will be showcasing their vehicles. As well as being able to browse the cars and meet their proud owners, the beautiful gardens and Palace House will be open for you to visit, providing a snapshot of life in the Victorian times.
