What to look forward to at Dogstival 2022!
With National Pet Month being well and truly underway, we’re looking forward to June when across the Jubilee weekend, we’ll be attending and sponsoring Dogstival 2022!
What is Dogstival?
Celebrating all things canine, Dogstival is a weekend dedicated to dogs and dog-lovers alike!
You don’t need a dog to come along – in fact, if you’re considering welcoming a dog into your life (or trying to convince a certain someone in your life to get a dog) - then Dogstival could be the perfect place to gain valuable knowledge and advice.
When and where will Dogstival take place?
Over the Jubilee weekend (Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th June 2022), Dogstival will return with an extra special Jubilee edition featuring a giant doggy Barkingham Palace, regal canine thrones and Jubilee Tea Pawty!
After outgrowing its previous venue, Dogstival will take place at Broadlands Park in Romsey, on the outskirts of the New Forest in Hampshire.
Tickets sell out fast, so be sure to book via the Dogstival website to avoid disappointment!
What’s on at Dogstival?
As much as dogs will love a day that’s all about them, there’s also plenty for humans to enjoy!
You can look forward to:
- Meeting thousands of dogs and owners.
- Watching world-class dog displays.
- Discovering new training techniques.
- Activities including water sports in the K9 dock and dive pool, agility, flyball, scent work and more!
- Doggy model competition – could your dog be the face of Dogstival 2022?

- Award-winning food and drink from New Forest producers.
- Live music from local bands and solo artists and new for this year, Barking Mad stand up comedy!
Is there dog-friendly accommodation nearby?
If you’re not local to Romsey, then we’d recommend booking accommodation nearby and making a weekend of it! That way you can enjoy a day of food, drink and live music in the sun and make the most of all of the activities and displays on offer, without the need to rush. With two Hampshire Hoburne holiday parks just down the road, and another just across the Dorset border, why wouldn’t you extend your trip?
