The Bay café opens at Hoburne Blue Anchor!
After months of renovations, our Somerset holiday park has opened the doors to its brand-new café, The Bay!
Previously called Café h, the new coastal-themed café at Hoburne Blue Anchor has so far been a huge hit with holidaymakers, owners and the local community (including the four-legged kind)!
Now offering a broader menu including fish and chips and jacket potatoes, as well as the usual selection of pastries and cakes, and daily specials, The Bay now caters to a larger number and features a large outdoor seating area with stunning panoramic sea views of Blue Anchor Bay.
Working with a team of interior designers, the park hoped to create a warm, welcoming environment where guests can relax and enjoy quality time to socialise - and it looks like they certainly succeeded! The new look compliments the park’s coastal location with a nostalgic nod to the beloved striped deck chair and fun pieces of artwork.
Commenting on the refurbishment, the general manager of Hoburne Blue Anchor, Derek Jones, said: Since opening the doors to our new café, it has been non-stop. It has been incredibly popular among our guests and the local community. We’re looking forward to a busy summer season and offering live entertainment on the outdoor decking for guests to enjoy while watching the sunset.”
