As well as our December to Remember festive-themed breaks, there is plenty of fun to be had out and about in the local areas surrounding our parks, catering more towards older children and even with a tipple or two for the adults!

CORNWALL
Fowey Christmas Market
Showcasing original gifts from local artisans, Fowey is truly magical in its Christmas finery. Enjoy warming winter treats, a parade with Father Christmas and the Fowey Town Band, and find the perfect Christmas gift among the craft stalls.
Christmas at Newquay Zoo
As if a visit to the zoo wasn’t exciting enough, this December you can also stop at Santa’s Grotto or enjoy breakfast with Santa at Newquay Zoo!
Ice Skating at the Eden Project
The ice rink returns to Eden this winter with sessions available to book up until 29th January 2023! Choose from a general skating session, family fun skate session or parent and toddler session.
Santa by Steam, Bodmin Railway
Hop on board at Bodmin General and meet Santa, take some Santa selfies, and then enjoy Christmas-themed art and crafts activities during the journey to Bodmin Parkway.

Enchanted light trail at Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park
Immerse yourself in farm-based festivities at Cotswold Farm Park! ‘Through the Wardrobe’ is a family-friendly illuminated light trail that tells a beautiful story and includes puzzles for young, inquisitive minds to engage with.
Cheltenham Christmas Market
Browse over 80 stalls showcasing Christmas decorations, gifts and festive goodies along the promenade in Cheltenham.
Spectacle of Light at Sudeley Castle
A magical after-dark experience where you can enjoy visual spectacles including the flickering flowers of the Queen’s Garden and mesmerising field of fire. The Castle Terrace will also offer a range of takeaway food including hot dogs, chilli fries, pulled pork and doughnuts.
DEVON
Christmas Illuminations at Babbacombe Model Village
Visit the popular Babbacombe Model Village and see it come to life with festive lighting and Christmas decorations.
Exeter Cathedral Christmas Market
Make it a day to remember at Devon’s biggest Christmas market with over one hundred festive chalets selling local produce and gifts, street food and more. Entrance to the market also includes free access to the beautiful cathedral.
The Polar Express train ride on the South Devon Railway
See the iconic black steam engine pull into the station, billowing steam and inscribed with the 1225 signage to identify it as Santa’s very own train. Hop on board and the journey will last around an hour with plenty of entertainment on board and of course, the chance to meet Santa and his head elf.

Christmas Tree Wonderland & Alpine Market in Bournemouth
With a multitude of festive-themed illuminations, the popular Christmas Tree Wonderland will return to Bournemouth’s Lower Gardens for 2022 with a 60ft walk-through trail of decorations. The outdoor ice rink and Alpine Market offer a great atmosphere and delicious festive fare.

West Somerset Railway Santa Express
